Personally I was excited when I saw this tweet this morning, and I know my fellow Asus Eee Pad Transformer owners are probably equally excited. The Taiwanese based computer giant has just announced via Twitter that all global versions of the hit Honeycomb tablet will receiving the Android 3.2 update tomorrow, July 28th. The update will come as an OTA (over-the-air) update.
We have talked about it already a few times, but Android 3.2 brings some nifty new features to some precarious tablet owners. The biggest new feature is the added support for new screen sizes, particularly the 7 inch screen. While it seems that Google is keeping with the whole “screen” theme, they also included a cool new zoom-to-fill compatibility mode for non-tablet apps. Basically it makes apps that are made for Android phones, look a lot better on the larget tablet screens. The third highlighted feature of this update is the media sync from SD cards feature. Simply put it allows users to directly access media for apps that might need them.
On another note I have to say that it’s great to see Asus promptly pushing out all the recent updates for their customers. Obviously they dont have carrier hurdle to jump over, but putting that aside, they are doing a great job at getting these important updates out to the customer.

What’s not to like about the Transformer? With the attached keyboard, and Honeycomb 3.2, I think I’ve found the tablet to replace my iPad…
My only gripe – try and buy an extra power cord. It is not easy task as they are not available through Asus retail.
