I also purchased a nextbook from HSN and my battery at first wouldn’t hold a charge, but then after re reading the instruction book, it said, when you are finished using it, push and hold the power button and then it will ask if you want to power it off……..I did this and now it is holding the charge
Does anybody know if you can you access hotmail on this tablet??? Or only the paid email accounts?
Can anyone use an instant messenger like aim or know of an app. I have one but it won’t let me use aim or aim express. Also what about Flash? I even downloaded opera mini but can’t get the flash to download or work. I haven’t tried a game site so maybe that will activate my flash

i got that when i first got mine
heres what it did
i made a back up of my device
and the sd card i had in it
i formatted the sd
then restored the factory settings for the device
then it becomes new again
it worked for me but i dont know if it will work for u
restore it to factory settings and it should stop doing it
we got 3 from them for early Christmas presents and 1/3 of the did that. when we restored it to factory settings it worked fine

i bought the nextbook 2 from hsn and like it they have the new nextbook 3 so i orsered it since i can return the other
one, i like the nigger screen its great i have no problems with the device,i bought the pamdigital 7inch from qvc and sent it back what a night mare, poor tech support next book they were right there……….

Someone Help!! I am having problems setting up my email account on my NextBook.
I just received my Nextbook and cannot get it to receive a charge or get it to come on. I charged for 5 hours
yeaaaa….. I just got mine about 30 minutes ago, literally. Opened up all excited, working great, hooked up to WiFi just fine, made myself an adobe account and borders account, ect. Downloading one free book….all is good. All of the sudden, the screen is frozen and it won’t do anything now, not even power off. grrrrr!!! Any ideas please? Thanks
I downloaded the facebook app ad when I try to open facebook it tells me to go to home screen select widgets then open the app. I have been trying to figure it out but can’t come up with anything. Please help.
Having problem with Nextbook, brand new, going to the internet and trying to download something, I receive the error message= The application Browser (process com.android.browser) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again, no matter what I do, this error comes up.

My wife bought me a Nextbook Next2 for Christmas and so far its been a nightmare. After giving it a full charge, as the instruction manual directed, I powered it on and it froze up on its first boot-up. Once I got it back on…the touchscreen was very slow to react. Several times I would touch a desired menu item and it would take me somewhere else…then it froze up again and I had to do a complete reset to get it started. This is where the nightmare really began. After you do a reset it requires a recalibration of the touchscreen by placing your finger on targets as they appear in the corners of the screen. Each time I completed the “target touch” procedure, it gave me a message “Calibration Failed, please try again”. After dozens of attempts to recalibrate, I finally gave up and put it back in the box.
Let’s see how well customer support will be to replace or repair a brand new Nextbook……???

How were you able to set up your hotmail account with the built in app? Every time I try I get the error message “unable to connect to server”. I can’t seem to get a yahoo email to work either. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I’m enjoying my new Next2 but I cannot seem to get the Email app to work with any of my email accounts. Are there tips or tricks? I have both a Hotmail account and a Yahoo one that I would love to be able to access.

i got mine for christmas, it works fine. i tried to register it but i don’t have a upc code or a copy of the reciept, it’s on the west coast and i’m on the east coast. E fun’s tech support is non-existant! it keeps telling you to go to their website, which isn’t good for anything, when the wait time gets down to 5 mins, the nex time it says when the next operator will be available goes up to 18-20 mins. other then registering i have not had any problems with it so far.
