Facebook recently rolled out a number of new features on its mobile apps. Facebook Home was specifically geared towards Android users, letting them have a system-wide Facebook experience on their devices. Now, a jailbreak tweak allows iOS users to have a similar experience on their iPhones.

In the first week of January 2013, social network giant Facebook started testing free voice calls in Canada via its Messenger app. From January 16, the company started testing free voice calls for iPhone users in the US and in March, Canadian Android users got free Voice Calling. And now the good news is Facebook Voice Calling is available to all US users.

Recently, Japanese electronics company Toshiba has announced a new laptop named KIRAbook, which is the very first device under the new brand for consumers, called KIRA. KIRAbook is a thin as well as a high-end laptop. It comes with 13.3-inch display along with a very high-resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and is a tough competitor to Apple’s Retina display equipped MacBook Pro.

The company seems to be putting in a sizable effort to render Java secure. To that end, Oracle has dished out a major security update, patching 42 vulnerabilities.
