Google’s Analystics service has been immensely popular among developers for a long while now. The search giant has now dished out the beta of a real-time API for the Analytics service, which will essentially let developers keep a close eye on the data from Analytics.
Google has finally kickstarted what seems to be an active marketing campaign, meant to expand the scope of Google Glass. The search giant has now sent out exclusive emails to the owners of Google Glass Explorer Edition, offering that they can invite one friend to buy a Google Glass prototype.
Back in 2011, Google surprised many when it purchased the restaurant guide, Zagat. However, it would now appear that the search giant was revamping the guide, incorporating Maps and other services within in. And now, Google has launched a Zagat guide of its own, initially covering restaurants in nine cities only.

Google recently launched second-gen Nexus 7 and before long, the iFixIt team got its hands on the tablet and opened it down to the very bits. Google launched its tiny video-streaming dongle, Chromecast, on July 25th. Together with the dongle, Google was offering a 90-day free Netflix access, as part of the promotions. However, the company has now cancelled that offer due to the ‘overwhelming demand’ of Chromecast.
In June, Internet search giant Google decided to purchase online mapping service Waze, but unfortunately the company couldn’t complete the deal. And now Google says that it has paid $966 million to buy Waze.
Google has made a rather generous gift of $600,000, spending the money to bring absolutely free Wi-Fi to some 31 locations in San Francisco. These locations include parks, recreation centers and playgrounds. Thanks to the search giant’s endeavor, people in these locations will be able to enjoy free internet access for up to two years.
