Acer has added two new Windows 8 ready all-in-one PCs to its Aspire product line. The two touch-friendly all-in-one PCs are slim and stylish. Between the two, the Aspire 5600U is a 23-inch machine and the Aspire 7600U is a 27-inch one. The price will start from $1,000.

The emergence of Windows dates back in 1981, though it wasn’t introduced to the public until 1985. From the Windows 1.0 to the latest Windows 8, the operating system has gone under massive changes. Microsoft has opened pre-order of Windows 8 Pro upgrade edition in retails, and has given a green light to OEM partners to start taking pre-order of Windows 8 devices. Several partners including Acer, Asus, Dell, HP, Samsung and Sony have already opened their Windows 8 portfolio for early birds. Among major retailers, Best Buy is the first to catch up. It is not only taking pre-orders online, but displaying Windows PCs in stores.
