AT&T is offering 50% price cut on all smartphones including the iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C and Galaxy S4 for this coming new year. With this deal price the iPhone 5s 16GB is now for $100, Samsung Galaxy S4 $100 with 2-yr wireless contract.
Lately, the New York Times has reported that CIA pays more than $10 million a year to AT&T for access to international calling records. AT&T has confirmed that it works with CIA but refused to divulge the nature of this partnership.
AT&T is the largest wireless carrier in the US. Banking on this huge achievement, the carrier now plans to extend its influence to Europe by considering a Vodafone takeover. While the two carriers are yet to enter any formal negotiations, AT&T employees are working on post-takeover details.
Around six months ago, AT&T announced that it will build a 1Gbps Fiber Internet network to Austin. Although AT&T is stick to the plan, lately the company has confirmed that it will surely bring 300 Mbps Fiber Internet to Austin in December.

Samsung’s Galaxy Note 3 has been among the highly anticipated releases of this year. The device is yet to hit the shelves but according to reports, you can already place your pre-orders for Note 3 with AT&T.
