The best thing about a submarine is it can move around from coast to coast silently. This silent predator can become a potential threat to any enemy country if carrying a lot of nuclear firepower. However, we have seen (at least in movies) launching underwater missiles from submarines to destroy enemy ship. But lately, US Navy has launched a drone called XFC from a submarine.
The social media has been abuzz with Amazon’s plans of launching delivery drones and the subsequent statement by UPS citing a similar plan. However, Google may beat them both by using it’s self-driving cars.
In what was described by many as a publicity stunt, Amazon’s Jeff Bezos recently talked about using small drones to deliver packages. It would appear that others in the game, such as the world’s largest parcel service UPS, are also working on similar ideas.

Aberporth has been a hub for testing Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) for a long while. Until now, this testing has been limited to the West Wales Airport but now, the National Aeronautical Center (NAC) in Aberporth says that it is expanding the test site to include the Newquay Cornwall Airport.
A Lockheed Martin F-16 jet had been retired and sitting in Arizona for some 15 years. Boeing recently fitted the jet up with the right equipment, turning it into a pilotless drone that can be controlled from the ground. According to the initial test flight, the unmanned F-16 performed exceptionally well.
