Ever since Apple started churning out iPad tablets, the world has been working out newer and more unique uses for this excellent tablet. We reported last year that a number of airlines were testing iPad on their flights and eventually, United Airlines entirely replaced it’s in-flight printed flight manual material with iPad devices. Now, it has been reported that U.S. Air Force is in the process of replacing it’s printed flight materials with iPad tablets, spending a hefty $9 million on the project.

While iPad 3 is still in wraps and Apple is expected to unveil the tablet on March 7th, a fairly large percentage of users is already all set to make the purchase promptly. InMobi surveyed a number of mobile users to see what their plans were for the next tablet from Apple. About 30% of them said that they definitely plan to purchase iPad 3. Out of the surveyed users, 44 percent said that shall they purchase a tablet soon, it would be none other than an iPad.
