Apple May Report First Quarter Of 2012 With 33 Million iPhone And 12 Million iPad Sold

Apple has done an exceptionally good business on the tablet front recently with the launch of the new iPad. However, it seems that the iPhone sales still continue to contribute the largest chunk to Apple’s overall revenue. With Apple due to report its quarterly revenue within a week and a half, a Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster has stated that Apple will most probably report sales of 33 million iPhone devices and 12 millions iPad tablets during the first quarter of 2012!

With the meteoric rise in the fortunes and fame of Apple and its products, its antique products have also seen a huge bump in their value. We posted earlier about a 1984 Macintosh 128k machine which was eventually sold for a whooping $3,519. And now, another Macintosh machine has surfaced on eBay, this time the extremely rate edition that came with a Twiggy disk drive. The seller has stated the starting price for bidding at $99,995.

Life had been calm for Mac users when suddenly we were told that a certain Java exploit was being used by a Flashback Trojan to infect hundreds of thousands of Macs.
