Popular personal cloud-based storage service Ubuntu One has struck Mac OS X computers in beta last Thursday. With the launch, Canonical’s service now resides on nearly all major operating systems — Windows, iOS, Android, Mac OS X, Ubuntu, and few Linux distributions.

The iPhone and Chronic Dev Teams have released the latest version of Redsn0w to jailbreak the iPhone 4 on iOS 6. This tool will allow users to complete a tethered jailbreak — meaning that if your iPhone 4 loses power, you must re-connect and boot via Redsn0w. This jailbreak will work with any A4 device, including the iPod touch fourth generation, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, and original iPad.
A report by Android Police earlier this week has exposed Google’s plans for its upcoming release of Gmail for Android. According to the report, Gmail will be updated with a pinch-to-zoom and swipeaway deletion feature. The update is unreleased and is labeled Gmail 4.2 for Android.

The state-owned railway network has launched a web app that can show the locations of about 6,500 trains in real-time on Google Maps. The web-app is called RailRadar. And, it’s open for all.
