Android Malware Infects Devices Through Facebook App

Google had recently upped the security of it’s Android Market, scanning apps for possible malware and deleting such apps which contained any. However, it would seem that the authors of Android malware had adapted quite fast. According to security firm Sophos, the Android malware is now spreading the Facebook app, rather than directly through the Android Market.

MWC 2012 – LG Unveils LG Optimus 4X HD

LG has promised that it would deliver a heavy-duty smartphone device during the Mobile World Congress 2012. And now, it has lived up to its words. During the pre-event booth displays, LG unveiled the LG Optimus 4X HD which is a neat and powerful piece of hardware. Google May Soon Replace Motorola Mobility CEO Sanjay Jha

After a lot of speculation and anticipation, Google was finally able to get approval for the acquisition of Motorola Mobility at $12.5 billion. The acquisition will lend Google well over 17,000 patents which may help it immensely in stabilizing it’s position in the Android world.
