The data revealed by NPD Group regarding the sales of Apple’s Mac line-up in US alone reveal that in Octobere and November, Apple has been able to increase it’s sales by 13%, compared to the last quarter. The overall quarterly growth for Apple had been estimated at about 25% and NPD analysts are hopeful that Apple will be able to achieve the percentage, set to make maximum sales in December.

Apple Releases iTunes 10.5.2

Apple has released an update for iTunes. This latest version is termed iTunes 10.5.2 and comes with a lot of improvements geared towards attracting users to iTunes Match. iTunes Match is the music streaming and storage service offered by Apple, the logical equivalent of Google Music. The update also contains fix for an audio distortion problem users faced in the earlier iTunes version.

Apple must be pretty proud of its employees, or at least we think it should. According to some new, exciting research from Asymco, it appears that every Apple worker brings in revenue of about $278 per hour. The revenue of Cupertino’s California based Apple was about $320,000 per employee in the first three quarters of the year. Now, compare the numbers, let’s say, with a company like J.C. Penney Co. who brings home only $124,000 per employee per year. Notice the almost triple difference?
