Notion Ink launches Ice Cream Sandwich Alpha Update For Adam Tablet

Notion Ink founder, Rohan Shravan announced on the official blog a new release for Adam tablet owners. Alpha ROM, now available for download, delivers an update to bring the latest Android, Ice Cream Sandwich, in Alpha to Adam tablets. The update also offers fixes for audio, sensors, Bluetooth, accelerated video, Wi-Fi, HDMI video (without sound), capacitive buttons, GPS among other improvements.

Fujitsu has revealed their latest waterproof tablet, named ‘Arrows’ in the CSE (Consumer Electronics Show) 2012 in Las Vegas. This waterproof tablet was first released at October 2011 by Fujitsu in Japan. In CES 2012, Fujitsu Arrows was one of the top listed products. Keep in mind, this tablet is waterproof and you need not save it from water. When you will pass your time on swimming pool, it will work smoothly on the water.

CES 2012: Dell Will Re-Enter Tablet Market By The End Of 2012

As we see it, the tablet market seem largely dominated by Apple’s iPad and Amazon’s Kindle Fire. Samsung did have some success with it’s Galaxy Tab but it still isn’t a major contender. And Google, too, has been ramping up plans to launch a Google tablet. In all this, the traditional tech giants, such as Dell, seem out of luck and out of business. At CES 2012, Dell’s Chief Financial Office, in an interview, said that Dell has all plans of re-entering the tablet market by the end of 2012.

Fujitsu Announces Waterproof Tablet and Quad-Core Smartphone

At this year’s edition of Consumer Electronics Show, Fujitsu managed to get the visitors’ attention with two intriguing announcements: a waterproof tablet and a quad core smartphone. The Arrows tablet, introduced by the Japanese company, runs on Android Honeycomb and, as Fujitsu advertises, users can drop in the pool without worrying about the tablet’s later functionality.
