Surprise, surprise! Developer Sand Studio has reportedly released a new Android app that will more likely change the way users interact with their devices – tablet or smartphone. The newcomer is called AirDroid and what it basically does is allowing connections between an Android device via an Internet browser and a Wi-Fi network connection. Yeah sure, they are other options on the Android Market, but this particular app is easy to set up, easy to use and features an environment that somehow mimics Windows. Even better, you don’t have to pay a dime as the app is yours for free.
According to a mysterious ad that has been reported across a number of websites, Verizon has offered the fresh installment in the Android market, Samsung Galaxy Nexus, for a mere $199. Of course it will be part of a deal which will include conditions such as two-year subscriptions etc. But this ad, ahead of Nexus’ launch, has raised many eyebrows.
Apple is currently the the second-leading PC vendor globally. HP has the top slot right now. But with the sales of tablets like iPad 2, Kindle Fire and Barnes & Nobles Nook Tablet, HP may be in for a tough competition in the coming days.

Verizon officially confirmed that it will offer the Samsung Galaxy Nexus later this year and the arrier did not announce an exact release date or pricing at this time, but Samsung and Google said last week at the unveiling event that the smartphone would start shipping in the US, as well as parts of Asia and Europe, in November. The Galaxy Nexus model showed off in Hong Kong supported the technologies used by AT&T and T-Mobile and Samsung obviously designed an additional model that takes advantage of the CDMA and LTE networks used by Verizon. Samsung Galaxy Nexus sports a 4.65-inch HD sAMOLED touch-screen display with 1280-by-720 resolution and it’s 8.94 millimeters thin with a 4.29-millimeter bezel and runs a 1.2-GHz, dual-core application processor………………….
Great news for all the people who bought HP Touchpads with hopes of having Android run on it in the future, it looks like the CyanogenMod team have been able to boot CM7 on the HP Touchpad and the goal is to have a multi-boot solution where one could boot into Android, WebOS and other operating systems. Unfortunately it was not stated as to when users can expect to see CM7 be ready for public consumption and if the idea of Android on the TouchPad is enticing, then CM7 on HP’s slate will surely make you swoon………….
