According to the latest stock market report, Apple shares are now valued at $493.97 per share, which means that AAPL passed a record $460 billion market cap. As a consequence, analysts from Bloomberg Television referred at Apple as an “absolute phenomenon” that surpasses expectations once again.

Apple Soon Updating Siri To Support Chinese, Russian and Japanese In March?

Siri is undoubtedly one of the most advanced voice-based personal assistants that we have witnessed. However, one problem with Siri has been that it doesn’t support a whole lot of languages. And due to this, the appeal of iPhone 4S is great in some regions but not much in regions where local language is not supported by Siri. Apple iTV Already In The Labs Of Rogers And BCE

Although so far Apple has been very secretive about it’s iTV venture and so far we have nearly no official information about iTV, rumors have been doing their rounds. The latest on iTV is from a a very reputed Canadian newspaper which is claiming that Apple’s iTV device is already in the labs of Roger Communications and BCE Inc. These are two major companies in Canada with broadband and wireless capabilities. According to the newspaper, Apple is seeking to partner with a company which has good wireless and broadband capabilities and that the talks with the two afore-mentioned companies are under way.

Proview Accuses Apple Of Infringing iPad Trademark, Demands $1.5 Billion

Apparently with so much money rolling into Apple’s pockets, the number of contenders has also increased at the same rate. Proview has long been after Apple claiming that the iPad trademark that has been used by Apple is actually owned by Proview and that Apple is illegally using it. Proview registered the iPad trademark in 2000 whereas Apple launched iPad in 2010. Apple has already been denied the right to use the term ‘iPad’ in China but Apple has now appealed against the decision.

Apple Makes Retina Screenshots Compulsory For iPhone Developers

Till now, iOS developers could submit their apps for iPhone and iPod touch without having to submit Retina screenshots. But now, in a statement released by Apple recently, the company has made it compulsory that any new apps that are submitted must include Retina screenshots. Moreover, any updates that are submitted for existing apps should include Retina screenshots. With an higher-resolution iPad 3 on it’s way, we can expect Apple is gearing up for the device in advance.
