Apple To Reset iTunes Match iClude Libraries On September 26th

Apple has announced that they will reset iTunes Match iCloud libraries on Monday, September 26th and Apple has also begun emailing iTunes Match subscribers. This comes after Apple wiped all iCloud backup data on Thursday and all of which would quite heavily hint that the Golden Master of iOS5 is ready, which in turn means the iPhone 5 can’t be far off. Apple will introduce the next iPhone October 4 in the auditorium of its Cupertino, California campus and Apple has held most of its major product launches in San Francisco. Apple still hasn’t confirmed a date for the event or that it will hold an event at all and iPhone 5 will mark the first major product launch for Apple under Chief Executive Tim Cook, who took over after Steve Jobs stepped down as CEO of the Mac and iPhone maker last month. According to in Dutch-language Nu.nl, Samsung is stepping up its legal response to Apple’s copycat accusations in courts around the world and Samsung is seeking in the Netherlands to ban Apple’s mobile products which sport 3G capabilities, which includes iPhones and 3G iPads. The patents held by Samsung in this case are considered essential, which means that they must be provided to a rival given reasonable terms under European regulations and the patents are considered essential provides Apple a relatively easy out if it can negotiate reasonable licensing terms with Samsung……………..

Quad-Core ARM Chip Shows Up In Apple’s Xcode

Ars Technica reports that, code strings related to Marvell’s ARM-based quad-core processor have been found in the latest source code of Clang, Apple’s compiler for Xcode and the ARM-based processor has been included, but the report notes that the inclusion of Armada XP support could be because Apple may be considering the Marvell in a future iOS device or even a MacBook Air. Apple is potentially considering the processors for next-gen iOS devices and this is at the very least an indication of Apple potentially working on a new quad-core ARM processor of their own. Less likely is a Marvell chip being included in a publicly released Apple product…………….

Only iPhone 4S Could Launched By Apple This Year

BGR reports on a new research note from Wedge Partners analyst Brian Blair, who claims that Apple will be introducing only one new iPhone model, the so-called iPhone 4S at Apple’s October 4th media event and this report agrees with other analysts who have seen no sign of a redesigned iPhone 5 coming through Apple’s supply chain. The complete lack of parts evidence for a redesigned iPhone 5 has led to serious questions about the potential for such a device being launched this fall and Apple could end up calling an A5-hotrodded iPhone 4 with a few other tweaks the new iPhone 5, but the wisdom of that would seem dubious without a major hardware redesign………………
